A simple equation: enough fabric and freedom to do whatever you want to. As a result: Gramma’s house curtains, Dior’s New Look, Helio Oiticica’s “parangoles” experiments. On every day basis, in fashion or art, the sum of these ideas suggests new possibilities.
Creativity and originality turns the established into something special and updated.
We find bENEdito’s V.dress into this context: it can be use by all kind of people, bodies and shapes, in every social event.
Made by two pieces of fabric (plain, printed or embroider) could be used in three shapes: as dress, skirt or a blouse.
Being “unique” is the main talent of Benedito Correia Neto, textile designer born in Paraná, Brazil.
His skills, based in handmade fabrics “collages” and texturized material, improved when he researches the “leftovers”, “losses” and “trash” of his own studio.
Using his fabrics texturized in the best “heritage” Pop-Barroc style, benedito created also multiuse brands and sewing finishes to enrich, attach and adjust his V-Dress. Creative and original since the beginning ‘Till the end or at least until another try in another day. *
